What happens after I schedule a visit?

Once your visit is scheduled, you’ll receive a confirmation along with the option to add the appointment to your calendar. We’ll also send you reminders as your appointment approaches, so you don’t have to worry about missing it. If you need to make changes or have questions before your visit, your care team is here to help.

What type of notifications will I receive for my visit?

You’ll receive an appointment confirmation after scheduling your visit, along with reminder notifications if your appointment was booked in advance. These reminders help ensure you’re prepared and don’t miss your visit. Notification delivery may vary based on your communication preferences.

How long will it take for my provider to start my video visit?

Providers do their best to start visits on time, but occasionally there may be a short delay if they’re finishing care with another member. If your visit doesn’t begin exactly at your scheduled time, please stay in the virtual waiting room—your provider will join you as soon as possible. For scheduled visits, we recommend joining the waiting room 5 minutes early. For instant visits, please remain near your device so you’re ready when your provider connects.
